I have this screen icon im my BB curve right where you should see the missed calls and new messages. its a tiny little globe with the number one next to it. and i cannot figure out what it stands for,

i've tried the user guide but its not there, does anybody know what it is?

Go to your messages folder, hit menu, view folder, Browser Messages. Delete it from there.
