Newbie here, I just wiped my BB clean and don't want to download the OS that was listed previously 4.05.55 (269 MB) I have 4.6 for Desktop Manager. How can I just load the OS back to my phone without having to download the whole 269 MB program.It is a Curve 8330 w/Verizon. Help!

Even if you wipe your handheld the OS still remains. I dont understand your question clearly, but I'm guessing you want to keep your original OS and not upgrade?

Nothing shows up under Device Software in the Desktop Manager. I wiped the BB clean with JL Cmder. I would like to upgrade, do I need to download the whole installation? I have the latest Desktop Manager.

If you wiped the and did not uninstall the OS from your PC
it should just be a matter of opening DM, connecting BB, click
Application loader and let it go.

FYI 4.5.0.55 will not work on the 8330.

The OS must be gone. The phone wont even power down. How can I recover the OS? I dont think it is on the PC either.
