OK, so I had to reinstall XP on my laptop and when I installed the BB desktop manager, I guess I selected to add a key store password and sync certificates when the Curve was plugged in. I know the password, it's just a hassle to keep having to enter it. And I don't really see the purpose. I have BIS and only ever sync with my own laptop. But I can't figure out how to remove it.
I don't know how to turn it off, either. I have to warn you that entering it incorrectly 10 times will wipe your entire device, the same as entering your device password incorrectly.
Try this. In Desktop Manager go into Certificate Sync and choose Options. Then uncheck Automatically Synchronise My Device's Certificate Data When My Device is Connected to the Computer.
