just got blackberry curve with t-mobile
ive transfered all my contacts with microsoft outlook from my old phone
the problem is - they sort by catagories
and i want to transfer them into groups in my bb
is there a way to do that - not manually ?
second thing how can i get info on exising groups - like the number of contact in group ?
third question , is there a free software that i can manage my contacts through my laptop ?

Groups in the Address Book perform the same function as Categories in Outlook. Unfortunately, the two do not synch. You'll have to create your groups manually in the Address Book. I don't know any way to get info on Group Properties. Finally, there is a member who's just posted a new Contact Manager. I use Outlook and haven't tried it. Search the forums for Contact Manager and you should find it.
