I am new to having a Blackberry Curve 8310 and I loved it until I started experimented on it and wanting to personalize it.

The original operating software was a BES 4.2 I believe. I quickly figured out that I could not download themes that I wanted to, so after a network upgrade and my blackberry locking me out and wiping itself, I decided to upgrade the OS to 4.5. Unbeknown to me, when I did this, I lost the ability to use Blackberry Messenger, Open attachments and probably other applications that I have not figured out yet.

I am wondering if their is a way that I can get my blackberry to wipe to the original OS (the BES 4.2). If anyway can help please, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!

If it really is a BES device (BlackBerry Enterprise Server) connected through a corporate BES policy, whatever you do must be coordinated with your IT department. If not, many things may not work or may not be supported by the BES version!

If not a BES device, try this CrackBerry link: http://forums.crackberry.com/f3/prop...ocedure-53359/

For BlackBerry Messenger and Attachment Service, open
Desktop Manager > connect phone > click Application Loader and
put a check in the boxes for both. Continue through to complete
    the installation.

If you still want to roll back to OS 4.2.2.170 you can get it
here. It will be at the bottom of the page.

Can you send me the link again? When I went to the page, it said it was the wrong link.
