I have just bought an unlocked att curve. i am carried by tmobile. when i send a pic message i get "failed to send message" and the detail is "WAP connection failed". Can anyone out there offer a solution? tmobile cust care says it won't work- but i know i'm not the only one to carry an unlocked phone from another carrier. Thank you to everyone....

If I am wrong about this someone will correct it....

Do you have a BB data plan? I believe you need data to
    send MMS

you don't need a data plan for mms, but you do need to change your APM settings..

    Options>Advanced options>TCP
    then in APN put wap.voicestream.com

    that should work

So MMS would fall under you text plan?? Depending on what carrier you were with, would you not need a text plan for your MMS to work? Then again you could always pay as you go I guess.

Hey All! I had the same exact issue. I could get SMS but not MMS or send them out either. And I bought an unlocked att curve and have Tmobile. What you need to do is call Tmobile and ask to speak to their Blackberry specialists...tell them you have a dataplan but there is another data thingy they can send to you in a service book that is free for you. If they dont know what your talking about (sorry I cant remember the name) ask to speak to a supervisor. It took me ten calls to figure out and it took them only five seconds to fix it.

Just wanted to note that mms also fall under messaging plans with Verizon , not data.
