Hello
Just recently my curve 8310 has just started shutting off randomly. i read through everything here and erased alot of xtra things
what it does is sometimes it shuts off if i am using myspace from my phone
if i use the myspace while its plugged in it dont shut off
i was outside using the phone this morning and it shut off on me too and i could not turn it on unless i plugged it in
i have a few apps on my phone
facebook
twitterberry
myspace
people for blackberry

but i always go and close them when i'm not using them
i get alot of text and emails during the day. but i erase everything constantly

i ordered a new battery and will try that, my phone is just over 1 year old

i went through and did the free up memory on that i read on here too.

please advise

I would say it may be facebook. My self and others on here have had trouble with facebook for some reason killing the battery.....

You are on the right track, I believe the new battery will solve your problems. Just charge it before subjecting it to a lot of drain.
