    Im a mac user and really want to update my 8310 Curve to the newest device software so I can record video and such...Ive already downloaded pocketmac but all it lets me do is sync, which I dont even know what it is doing when it does that...but could someone please give me a step by step as to how I can get the new software on my phone via my mac?? Thanks much in advance!

    Get up from the mac, call a friend with a PC, go over there for about an hour and a half.

    I know this is really sucky!! most of my friends have macs too gahhh...if i do go to a pc user is the only thing I need that disc that came with the phone??

    No, you can download that from blackberry.com, look for desktop software version 4.5 or 4.6 dont bother with 4.7.

    Or, you can call your AT&T store, Ive heard some users have luck with this being that they reps do it, its hit or miss from what ive read.

    On your friends PC< you will need the OS you want to update too for your DEVICE, and get the bb desktop software, then you are good to go..
