Exclamation Help with GPS decision...

I bought the Curve 8300 about a month ago (28 days to be exact) and love it! However, I would really like to have the internal GPS touted by the 8310. I've grown impatient on these so-called "release dates" from AT&T (not to mention I only have 2 days left on the return policy). My question is, should I go for the Mini Freedom GPS receiver (reviews are all good) for $89 and stick with the 8300, or should I switch to the 8820? I guess I could give up the camera for the GPS. Does anyone out there use an external GPS receiver with their 8300? How does it work? What should I do?

It looks like the 16th, but you can always add a bluetooth puck.

Um, you didn't like the infamous iPHone? I know very little about it, but I thought it was the answer to the ages! I'm getting more and more excited about the BB I just ordered!

Default iPhone's not for me...

I looked at it. Now that they've come down in price, it's not that far off from some of the BBs. It was "fun" to play with, but too many beels and whistles for me. I was sold on the the "rock solid" performance of the BB. I just purchased a crimson red Curve 8310 and I'm pumped!!!

It is a great IPOD, but an average phone.

If you are going to get an external GPS Puck, DO NOT get the Garmin Mobile™ for BlackBerry® with GPS 10x for the Curve. I purchased this 2 months ago with 1 year subscription (paid $199.99) for my 8700g and now that I changed my device to the Curve thinking that I can use it (since it says "for BlackBerry"), well it doesn't

Contacted Garmin Support how to go about it and was told, it is not supported.

Default Thanks

for all the advice. I started the TeleNav service with my new Curve 8310 and love it! However, I think it (along with Bluetooth) sucks the battery life! I started with a full charge this morning and it has drained out by the end of the day.

I'm thinking seriously about ordering the 2600 extended battery. My only hesitation is that I've already ordered a protective skin from bestskinsever.com. I'm wondering if it will fit with the extended battery protruding from the back a bit?
