Recently there have been a couple random times that I am having trouble entering my password:

when i go to type in the password, certain letters/keys (a, left shift, alt, and del) come up as double asterisks... I press the keys once, two stars come up, and i cant delete because 2 more get typed rather than deleting the previous.

I checked for caps/symbol lock, shut off phone/removed battery, etc... I finally got home from work and plugged it in without the battery in then inserted battery and it told me to enter "blackberry" so i did and after a few attempts it it came up correctly and seemed to be fixed.

It happened again and the same technique worked... but has anyone else encountered this or does anyone know why its happening? Its not low battery and to my knowledge the phone hasnt been dropped or gotten wet. is it a glitch/virus/something else? Lemme know if you know.. Thanks!
