I recently upgraded to 4.5 on my 8310, I am with AT&T but decided not to wait for their official release. I am on 4.5.0.55 Now whenever I put the media chip back in the device within a few minutes it locks up. I have formatted the chip multiple times and it does not help.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Why don't you load the latest release for it? Version 4.5.0.81. It's a sticky in this forum. See if that solves your issue.

I just loaded 4.5.0.81 and it worked fine, until I put the media chip back in, then my BB locks up again.
