I tried posting this in the how to forum ,but I'm not authorized to do so. But yea any one whom has had this same issue and rectified it ,how'd you do it? Did you pay someone to fix it ,if so how much? Or did you do it your self,if so how?

you may have broken the connection with the headphone jack. i think you will have to take it to someone and have them solder it back together..at least thats what i was told because mine has that same issue

Here's a search I just did, there are at least 3 or 4 threads with headphone jack and broken, etc in the title. The other threads may have a discussion within them about broken headphone jacks:
