Having trouble upgrading

I have a Verizon curve 8330 running on a 4.5 .. need to upgrade to 5.0 but their telling me that since i missed out on the 4.6 upgrade i can't do the 5.0 even tho every single website tells me that i can. My phone is runnin like a pos and i have to battery pull atleast 4-5 times a day. Constantly freezing and i can't get alot of things in the app world. Can anyone help???

Download the update at the verizon site then update through desktop manager.

There never was a 4.6 OS version released for the 8330. Whoever is telling you that is mistaken.

Do as noted above. Go through BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Be aware that it will likely run more slowly with version 5.0 installed so it's probably not the solution you are looking for.

Check your File Free. Go to Options > Status and read the third line.

Upgrading to 5.0 will not help. OS 5.0 takes more memory space than OS 4.5. You have too much on it and you need to do Memory Optimatization.
