I have what I thought was a brand new H700 blue tooth headset

But it constatnly crackles and sounds terrible.

This is my only experience with bluetooth... is this how they all are?

Or should it be crystal clear?

Others on the other end of the phone say I sound like **** too.

If this is not correct, what could cause this crackle?

It seems that if I have my phone in my pocket and am walking down the street, the crackle is amplified for some reason?

I tried a bluetooth headset a couple of years ago, and the sound quality was crap. It was worse walking down the street, given the wind from walking and the street noises. I went back to the wired headset.

I have heard from others that some models work well and others just don't. And apparently different headsets will work will with some phones, and less well with others.

I had the H700 and did not like it at all. I had the same problems as u. Now I have the new Jawbone 2 and I love it

I am having the same problem with the H700. I just got rid of my H500 because it broke but it worked perfectly. Right now I hate the H700!

How could one bluetooth headset be crap over another?

Isnt bluetooth the same technology no matter what exoskelton they put it in?

I would assume a motorola would be one of the best in the business, but it is terrible.

Do I just have a defective headset?

Or is this H700 just crap?

But how would the bluetooth connection be jepordized?
