I looked all around and I cant find a forum dedicated to talking about what automobile GPS systems are wireless compatable with Blackberry units. I am in the process of having to return a really great TomTom 730 because while the bluetooth will allow me to make phone calls thru the GPS the wireless function is incompatable with my curve 8320.
No one specified up front about any problems and unfortunately without paying RIM $$$ they wont even talk to you (if they even know the answer).
Is there a site that deals with wireless compatability issues among various GPS units and bluetooth phones?
what is the BT function? I had no problem with the bluetooth - my curve 8320 worked fine with the TomTom 730 if I wanted to just make phone calls. My problem was with the wireless configuration. Are you saying that there is supposedly a fix for this? The TomTom support guy was not aware of anything?
