Hey guys i have been searching the forums but cant find what im looking for. I have Telenav and a i have been using BB maps and they both seem to lose the GPS signal alot and take forever to pick it up again. Is there a better app to run the GPS? i really like the BB maps.. its just nicer looking than the Telenav, it looks more like a tomtom so i would love to find something similar or even just a solution to make the BB maps work right. Thanks for any help Jeff.

I use BB maps with an external gps. It will lose signal only if I cross a tunnel.

Your 8320 does not have GPS. It has Wifi. The 8310 has GPs and no Wifi and the 8330 has both.

How are you setting up GPS? Do you have and external receiver?

The 8320 should work stand alone using GPS triangulation which will give you a position to twithing about 1700 yards.

Not sure, Jeff. Your profile says you have an 8320. That was why I said what I did.

On my 8310 I was able to make the internal GPS lock to my position in Options.

I cannot use Google Maps because my new phone is still locked to T-Mobile and I'm waitng for the key to arrive.

    I can't help, sorry.

Its a Telus issue with the 8330, i am having the same problems myself.
Some have found the GPS only works with Telus navigator..

yeah i found that BB maps works well when you start telenav and and leave it running in the background. telus likes to block out all the fun stuff
