The salesman at the AT&T store tells me that the 8310 does not come with video capabilities, but I can upgrade the firmware and it will then support video. Any truth to this or is he just blowing smoke to get a sale?
Yes if you update the OS you will have a video recorder and be able to play videos. You would have to update to a 4.5 OS version which AT&T does have now.
You can look at options>about on your phone or (alt/shift/H) and it will tell you your OS. I am betting its 4.2. You will need 4.5 to deal with video as chilly has said........
