I had the same problem with my 8300. Called ATT, they replaced it without question. On top of that it took like 7 minutes to start up.

The dreaded memory leak... Mine has actually dropped to under 12 MB tonight.

    Time for a battery pull.

Try this to free up memory as well.

I'm running the .194 O/S with 12 3rd party apps and this is my current status. I have never seen it go to single digits. Should count my blessings I guess :

31 Mb of free space is very good.

Your File Total is a couple Mb larger then my 8320 but they have the same 64 Mb memory.... interesting.

Hmm, I have the same thing,

Wondering if I upgrade my OS ( currently .170) to .194 will it help?

Upgrading isn't going to help you any its just a issue we all deal with. Kinda sucks especially with how little memory has gotten the can't just throw a dang 1gig microsd card on the main board hahahaha I mean its not like it would cost them anything.

um i think a jump from 64-95megs to 1gb of flash memory would alter the cost of our berries quite a bit.
