I'm using someone's old 8310, while waiting to upgrade. When I received it, the entire side panel was off (where the volume controls are). When I asked how I was supposed to adjust the volume, I was told "Adjust it using a pin."

That failed -- the entire internal volume contact (that would respond to the pin) fell off. Now I can't adjust volume at all. I don't think I can just replace the rubberized panel because the phone's internal volume contact is gone...

Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks!

you need the volume buttons and the switch.

the buttons are easy to replace with parts available on ebay for like 3 dollars but the switches need to be soldered and you'll need to buy a DOA curve to take off the switch and resolder it onto your device.

    hope that helps!
