I'm brand new to the Blackberry / Crackberry community and love my 8300, hate the beep everytime I click the rollerball. I'm savy in changing various sounds, but I know I'm just not finding the right screen to change the settings. For some reason, my coworkers dont enjoy listening to the sound. Go figure. Any help?

Menu>Options>Screen/Keyboard>scroll all the way down and change "Audible Roll" to Mute.

that would seem like that would be the solution however its still occurring. it makes the same sound both listed on mute and on click. could it possibly be something else?

yea mine still clicks even on mute, luckily i like the clicker on tho....sry no suggestions from my standpoint

Weird, my 8320 is set to mute, and doesn't click.

fixed.

it was actually under key tone. it was the same screen listed above i just turned key tone from on to off. thanks for your help!
