I was excited to get a new phone and i decided to get a blackberry, since i can access my emails and do these fun things with it.

but one thing i found out about this phone is that i cant record any video or record any voice notes.

Is there any way of upgrading this BB curve in order to record video and all that stuff.

Any help will do.

Yes, per the instructions, remove the vendor .xml file

As well as upgrading your OS, purchase a microSD card for your phone. Even if you are still on 4.3OS you can record video if you have a microSD card installed

Ok... so i saw you instructions and they seem easy to do. but i am just a tiny bit confused... i have been reading some other forums and they have exactly the same way of upgrading the curve but they have one thing that says " Wipe your handheld HowTo Wipe with JL_cmdr or use CrackMem"

What does this mean?
Do i need i perform this after deleting the vendor.xml file ?

Follow Chaz's link to Proper Upgrade/Downgrade procedure. It addresses both wiping the handheld with Jl_cmdr and removing the vendor.xml file.

Just follow the steps one by one and you will be fine
