I got two disks from verizon with my curve. With my previous phone, I had to install drivers into it through the use of the disk. Does the same hold true for the curve?

are these some sort of USB drivers? or you confusing the Desktop Manager Software for a drivers disk?

I have Verizon also. One disc is for the Blackberry Desktop Manager and drivers so you can connect to your pc. The other disc is for you from Verzion to use your phone as a modem for your computer.

I did not have to install the drivers prior uploading things to my phone. It allowed it to fiction as a USB mass storage device. Drivers made it connect right away though with no hassles.
