I have my first BB and was wondering if there is a setting for when you answer the phone and there is a couple second delay after hitting the send button before the phone actually connects?

This is just something that happens that I have never really found out why ... but you'll get used to it. It happens to me as well on my Curve and so I always give it a 2 count and then say "Hello ..."
