    ok guys i got an unlocked 8320 and the last time it was updated was almost a year ago and im wondering is there an update for someone that isnt a t-mobile user?.. this would be a huge help as my phone is in desperate need of an update thanx in advance

    thats awsome .. but my question is how does somone thats useing an unlocked 8320 go about getting the most recent update?.... the t-mobile one requires use of a tmo # something i dont have nore can i get acess to

    Any firmware version for the 8320 will work. All you need to do to use a different carrier's firmware is to delete the vendor.xml file. The link below will explain the steps to upgrade the OS.

    Take a quick look, may be over at pinstack, there is a link to V4.2.2.184 from singapore wireless, you can use that.
