When I set spam filter words at sprint.blackberry.com for incoming mail to my Outlook email address, all incoming emails are blocked. The filter words are found in the usual Spam messages (viagra, cialis, etc) but this feature now seems to block all emails, including non-spam When I delete all the filter words, the emails are received again, including spam unfortunately. Sprint tech support suggests adding back one spam word at a time in the filters to see which one(s) cause(s) the problem... it seems now that any filter word does so. I did not have this problem until recently. For the first 6 months, I had 5-10 filter words that seem to work fine, then I added 4-5 more and suddenly any filter word blocks all emails.

I am able to employ some filter words to block spam to my Yahoo email address as received on my BB Curve, but not so for email to by Outlook email address.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how can it be resolved?

    Thanks!

Did you make sure that next to "Apply Filter When", you selected "Subject"?

Take a screenshot of that page... probably would help to see what settings you have setup...

Motorcycle Mama... you may have hit on the problem. I have just entered a filter word using the Subject reference and it did not block a test email. I'll add more words tomorrow, to make sure. Thanks!
