You can wipe the handset by going to options>security settings>general settings>menu button>wipe handheld or if you have a password on the phone enter it wrong I think its 10 times? I dont know but it will prompt you etc....

Its a CDMA Blackberry.
if i do that will i have to go back and re-activate it ?
(go back to the store i got the CDMA phone and get a rep to re-activate is what i mean after the wipe procedure)
You should still have your mobile service even if you wipe it. The service should only not work if you haven't paid your bill or if your device is broken.
