Default export address book into excel without synching

Trying to help a former coworker out. She has to turn in her work blackberry curve 8330 but she wants to save her address book. IT at work will not help.
I have a personal blackberry so I brought hers home to see if I could help.

I have a Mac and have the desktop manager.

Is there any user friendly way to export her address book into a readable document, like Word or Excel, that I can put on a thumb drive for her? I don't want to sync her BB to my computer because I will have all of her contacts, too.

Please dumb your responses down for this technologically challenged person.

Thanks in advance,
Allyzabethe

You can sync her BB to a pc that has bb desktop software and will also need outlook... from there you can sync the address book. Once complete you can export it to a CSV file and that is technically saved into an excel. You can import this CSV file into many different databases.

What you want to do is use Desktop Manager and use the ASCII sync from Blackberry to desktop. As stated above it will create a .csv file on your desktop that is readable and editable in Excel.
