Default Error While Composing E-mail!

Hello, fellow addicts:

Whenever I try to send an e-mail, I receive an error which says: "No message services configured. You will only be able to Save Draft."

I have tried resetting and a battery-pull, but the problem still persists.

If someone could help, that would be greatly appreciated!

It means you have no default cmime service defined.

Options->advanced Options->Default Services

- or -

Options->Device->Advanced Options->Default Services

And if that doesn't work, do you have an active BlackBerry Data Plan?

When I follow the first path, I come to a blank screen, and the Blackberry menu key does not bring up any menus...

Yes, I have an active BlackBerry data plan, as I frequently use the internet with it.

Did you try a Battery Pull with the device turned on?
Have you tried resending the Service Books?

You will need to go into BIS on your BB or online and set/reset your password. Find your Email setup icon and try fixing it from there. As an alternative you can call your carrier CS and they can talk you through it. Good Luck!
