Does erasing emails on mailbox and handheld use up more battery than just erasing on handheld? My battery was lasting approx two and a half days. Now I've been deleting emails both on mailbox and handheld, and the battery seems to be draining a little faster.

Sounds like it could be the memory on your phone. Try this:

Also, be sure to do "menu, close" when done with an application (especially the broswer). And do a battery pull or Alt+Shift+Del about twice a week.

And deleting from handheld and mailbox will not majorly affect your battery level...
