Thanks Chucky_b
I saw a couple of different methods and this was the easiest and exactly what I needed.

You just saved me the personal frustration of having to confirm duplicate reminders year-round. Thank you

Hi everyone,

I just got a bb last week and i'm still trying to figure out how everything works... I already managed to erase all my calendar entries without backing anything up I was wondering if there was a way to automatically send all my entered birthdays from my contacts list to the calendar... any ideas anyone?
Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much chucky b! I was tearing my hair out trying to figure out how to get rid of my totally fouled up BB calendar so that I could get a good sync once I had straightened out my Outlook calendar. Using your solution to delete the Calendar database from the BB, I was then able to sync to a wonderfully clean Calendar. This will help with the BB software updates that totally mess up any "All Day", recurring appointments!

Excellent!

Hi,
I have found even more interesteing, quickest and easiest way. Callendar/Options/ now type: RSET

All records from Callendar are deleted now and you can re-sync wiht Google or whatever.. again

Enjoy!

Default RSET for over-the-air calendars only

I tried the suggestion of typing "RSET" in the calendar options screen, and this only appears to clear out and reload calendar entries for a calendar synchronized over the air (e.g., Google). This is in Blackberry OS 6 on a Bold 9650. Regrettably, it doesn't solve the problem I've got, which is a calendar full of entries that is only synchronized with Outlook via the BB Desktop.

Now in Desktop Manager, select "Device" then "Delete data" and then "Selected data" and check the "Calendar" or other data you would like to delete. I always do a back-up of everything before trying anything like this of course.

You can then re-sync it or restore it if you like.

I'd like to empty my calendar too, but I have NO idea how to get desktop manager on my computer. When I install it I get desktop software, but there is no option "backup & restore". There is an option 'removing data' but I can't select calendar because it's a read-only file... Please help me because I tried to syngronize with google and all my entries are noted 20 times...
