    So thankfully i had my info backed up on my computer! I have the 8330

    However after the backup I'm not receiving emails on my phone.

    I don't see a start-up wizard or email wizard anywhere. I do have the latest Desktop Manager I believe...
    went to options - > applications ->
    have: *blackberry 4.5 core application & system software
    *as well see email set up application (however can't find an icon for this anywhere)

    In searching around the forumns, I saw someone say he deleted his email icons and then found the email set up icon that magically appeared. I can't for the life of me figure out how to delete them.

    *I've done about 100 battery pulls and "quickpull" software restarts. I know that's not going to solve the problem.

    Try Options>Advanced>Host Routing Table Hit Blackberry Button, select Register Now from menu

    or

    Options>Mobile Network then Blackberry Button and select Start Provisioning from menu
