Hi i got a blackberry curve 8310 and i went to setup wizard and then the email setup and ive only got 2 options :
- i want to use a work & email account with a blackberry server.
- i want to skip email setup.

most blackberry's ive seen has 3 options and that option is :
- i want to create / add a new email.

is there any way i can get that??

Sounds like your browser isn't set-up/working, that's why you don't have the BIS account set-up option.

Make sure you have a Blackberry email/data plan with your carrier, if you do, then go to Options, Advanced Options, Host Routing Table, Menu, Register Now, That should get your Browser and internet services going.

Then you may have to send your Service Books to your BB. Log-in or create an account here:

BlackBerry Internet Service

Then once you are logged in, send your service books to your BB.

After doing the above, you should've received some email confirmations. Now you should be able to go to the email set-up icon and set-up your email account(s).

As was explained in a prior thread, this is because you have a prepaid account
and you need a BLACKBERRY DATA PLAN. Nothing other than that will make this
work for you.
