I am a newbie trying to setup my Blackberry 8330:

I use Outlook Express and my cable provider's (Optimum) email service.

I have Verizon BIS.

Whenever I want to delete an email message, I am asked if I want delete the messages from both my Machine and my Handheld. Even if I check yes to both, I always have to delete each message seperately from both my blackberry and from my computer.

How can I set it up so that:
1) deleting a message from Blackberry will delete the message from my Outlook Express on my computer. OR
2) deleting a message from Outlook Express on my computer will delete the message from my Blackberry. OR
3) Both!

You won't be able to do that.

Deleting the messages on your device will will affect the emails in the email client (Outlook Express) on your computer. Or vice versa.

And that function you are referencing only affects the messages on the server. Once the messages are brought into the email client, nothing you do on the BlackBerry will affect them.
