The little globe and envelope that allows me to verify my emial account is gone.. I still have two AOL icons for those accounts, and two globe and envelope icons for the other accounts, but the real one is missing.

Now I need to verify an email account and I have no idea how to do it.

Did you hide the icon? If not try re registering go to option/adv options/host routing table/ blackberry button/ register now.

If you already tried re-registering your device and unhid all hidden items then your next phone call should be to Verizons Blackberry Tech support. They basically will wipe your account from your device and then re-add it and that should more than likely fix your problem.
