When I get a new message via gmail, it delivers it to my blackberry in two locations: messages and my configured email icon. I want the emails to go to the configured email icon and text messages only to the messages icon. Any way to keep emails and texts separate???

Thanks!! I tried that, but when I click on messages, it now just shows me my email and to access the SMS inbox, I have to click view folders then go to the SMS inbox. I would like the SMS inbox to come up immediately instead of the emails.

If you have your sms seperated then there should be a seperate icon that will take you right to your sms. its called sms and mms
