I am new to bb's and I have recently set up my gmail account on my curve

when the email comes through - it is nothing but long html links.

on my old phone it showed a clean and clear email address with pictures and what not.

is there a way to see pictures and read the email as if it was being read on my computer?

only OS 4.5 will display FULL HTML emails. it has just been released here in the UK on the orange network, other carriers will follow very soon, all by September, I would recommend getting used to your new BB before attempting an OS upgrade. ALL the info you require is here on the forum.

True very ture. If you do not want to wait you can get Empower or BBSmart software. they run about $30 and can be linked to via this website.

Empower is a very good application. I second waiting on upgrading the OS until you're more familiar with the device. About September, nobody really knows when it will be released here in the states. Welcome to CB.
