Ok, I know this is being nitpicky but is there any way that you can stop the cc field from showing up in the BB Email App (just the default one...I'm not sure if it has a specific name)?

At first I thought I could just live with just deleting it every time (or ignoring it--you can see how well that turned out) I write a new email but now it's getting to be annoying and I figured the crackberry geniuses (and addicts and fellow newbs) can help

Nope.

It doesnt bother me in the least, sometimes I use the cc field

I hear you; I use it sometimes too. But not often enough that I need it there EVERY time. Besides, you always have the option to add it on later.
