so under my setup wizard it asks if i want to set up a work place email, but on my friends bold, it lets him set up personal emails, so he can receive personal emails, any way for me to do this, so i get direct emails to my home screen as well, because i could not find the option, thanks!

Yes, you can. You can do it on the handheld or on a computer by signing into BIS.

No BlackBerry data plan = no push email to the device...... You would have to take advantage of your device's WiFi capabilities.
