It is not possible. The 8330 is a CDMA-only device that does not use SiM cards. There is nothing to unlock.

You need to load modified service books for the browser to work if you don't have a Blackberry data plan. What provider are you using?

I am using a new CDMA provider here in the Caribbean. They support 1X and EVDO. They don't offer the BB service. I am able to make calls.

Is there a generic service book I can use or edit?

There is a generic service book I will send you the information by PM. You must have some sort of data available on your plan for the browser to work. The service books direct the browser to use regular data instead of Blackberry Information Services (BIS).
