Hopefully this isn't a dumb question, but I JUST got my 8300.....

I got rid of a (problematic) Treo 650, and it had one very nice feature that I cannot seem to find on my Curve. It had a switch on the top that switched off the ringer in case you went into a meeting at work, went into the store, etc.

I cannot seem to set one of the side convenience keys on my 8300 to do this.....is there a way besides going into Profiles?

    Any thoughts or suggestions?

    Thanks!

Pressing the mute button while a call is incoming will silence it...

But, from phone / menu / dial from home screen / turn it off. Now, to QUICKLY switch to profiles, press F!
Ps: there are lost of other shortcuts...

    Doh!
I thought that that only worked once the phone rings?

If it mutes BEFORE any call is recieved, then that is EXACTLY what I was looking for....
