If this is your first sync, set it up so that its one way sync to the BB. After you're done you can set it to two way.

I have fixed this issues, I went to RIM site and was able to get the instuctions. You have to erase the data in your handheld that is casuing the issue. My calandar was hung up. I erased all of the date in my calandar and now it will work.
