I installed an altered 5.0 system to my old 8330 about a year ago. I played with it for a few days, but ultimately i boxed it up and put it away in my closet.

My sister now needs a phone to use, so I'm giving it to her. Is there any way I can revert the software back to the official 4.7? I just want to make sure she has the most stable system until she gets a new phone early next year.

There is no official 4.7 for the 8330, just 4.5.0.186. If I'm not mistaken.

I was trying to find a way to upgrade to 5 from 4.5. Why are you downgrading? Jd

Whether upgrading or downgrading, the steps are the same. Load the OS on your computer, back up your settings with Desktop Manager, back up your 3rd party apps with BBSAK or BB MCP, wipe your device, run apploader, re-install your settings and 3rd party apps. Note that some 3rd party apps will not work with a different OS. JD, to load a 5.0 OS go to BBTweaks.com. They got the best.

Edit: JD, just noticed that you have a 8320. I don't think there is a 5.0 OS for that model. Sorry.
