I've burned most of my Blues collection to the PC. Then I'll use the Roxio media manager to copy to the Curve. Now that I'm thinking about it, is that a problem? Does the Curve play Windows Media files??

No it doesn't, convert to .mp3 before transferring to the BB.

Well, I guess Roxio does the conversion. When I copied a few songs to the Curve, they showed up and play just fine.

Yes roxio does convert it for you but roxio is too much to use. If you convert to mp3 you can just drag and drop using mass storage mode.

Come to think of it...if your using media player 10 or above you can sync directly with it. I do it that way a lot.

I guess I should upgrade to version 10. Any reason not to?
