    Is there a setting that can be toggled to turn that sound off when taking pictures?

    the only way you can have no sound is if you're on a call so call your voicemail then turn on your camera that's it welcome to CB !

    It's a safety/security thing... you can do it with the in-call thing but there won't be options for it.

    Thread number 208 on camera sounds.....plug in a headset, make a phone call and switch applications and that will take care of the sound.
