For example, I am going to the gym in 5 minutes... and will be in there for about an hour or so. I dont carry my phone with me because thats my place to get away from everyone

If I recieve a message while in the gym can I have my curve automatically send the person who was trying to contact me a message saying I am currently away from my phone (kind of like AIM away messages)..

No, but you can leave a status message for BlackBerry Pin Messenger...

You should be able to set your current status on BB Messenger and other IM applications...But for SMS it's a CAN'T DO !

On the lighter side, while we are on the subject - If you want to be away from everyone, don't plan on telling them that you're gonna be away..and more important - don't tell anyone where you are going !
