Hi guys - I am a newbie - so forgive the basic question.
Can someone advise whether or not the curve 8330 has a recycle bin. ( ie) - when deleting messages, pictures etc. Is there a folder that contains deleted items ?
When you delete a message from the Blackberry it is permanently removed from the device. Of course it may still reside on your emal program on your PC or wherever.
Likewise if you delete a pisture, movie, tune or file then it too s gone from the device BUT if you have carried out recent and regular BAckups using Desktop Manager then all this data (from the Device Memory, NOT the Media Card) will be available in the Backup file. This may be access by performing a Restore (which overwrites the DEvice Memory) or by using a program to open up the Backup file and extracting the data you wish.
So, the BlackBerry does not have a Recycle Bin but with careful planning it can be hard to lose your stuff.
