- Okay, first timer here... I've been researching and seeing this same problem around the web, but when I try to use the solutions listed by other people it doesn't seem to work for me. I currently own a BlackBerry 8320 Curve and updated it to 4.5.0.81 from the T-Mobile carrier site. It did not install Documents to Go.
When I connected the BlackBerry to the computer and opened Desktop Manager, in the Applications Loader it only lists the applications that were downloaded from a third-party, nothing else (Which is a total of 3 applications actually, which doesn't seem right to me). I don't know what to do, because I even played around with the Desktop Manager program by clicking on Advanced but still did not see Documents to Go. Help? Thanks in advance!01-19-09 08:04 PMLike 0 - You want to open up the loader in the program files / common files/ research in motion there you ought to have the option to check the box during install for Docs to go to be installed.01-19-09 08:07 PMLike 0

- Once the OS is installed, you can use app loader to manually add DTG and other apps to your BB. Start app loader, scroll through the list until you come to DTG. Click the check box, and the line status will change from none to install or update. Click next, and DM will install DTG on your BB.01-21-09 06:52 AMLike 0
- Pete6Retired ModeratorThe Blackberry OS is deliverd to your PC as a single file. You need to install this as a PC application. It won't show up as a program on your PC Desktop but is can be seen if you look in Control Panel, Add/Remove Programs.
One the OS is installed the you should connect your phone to the USB port and run Desktop Manager. This is the preferred manner to update your phone.
Use the Applications Loader and then Add / Remove Applications and click Start. You should now see a list of applications that you may optionally install. Select DocsToGo and select Next.
You will need to register DocsToGo in order to get updates but this is worth doing.01-21-09 09:00 AMLike 0 - Pete6,
Were you able to install it also on your 8100? I am running OS 4.5.081, I can see it in the shared files on the pc but when connect the Bb to the DM, the uploader only finds the OZ Messenger application. If I try to browse and open the .alx file I receive a message that there are no more applications designed for my device.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your time.

Any ideas?
Thank you again.

I will be looking into a way to correct this, but for now, programs will be installed OTA only.02-02-09 09:30 AMLike 0
- As a follow up to my previous posts, I was able to load Docs2go on to the 8100. Thank you Pete6. I reloaded the OS and forgot to delete the vendors file. Once that was done, everything went smoothly.
Thank you all for your time.
