Always been curious as to know if people actually separated it. I know that I do in order to maintain order to my blackberry. But a friend of mine was speaking about how she keeps all her stuff together, so when she gets a particular message, she didnt have to click two different areas.

Do you all do the same?

I keep SMS/MMS separate; I don't use BBM currently

Yeah. go to options on your messages tab.

Options > General Options > SMS & Email Inboxes > "Separate"

I have my messages separated, I need to be organized!

I haven't separated mine. I tend to delete most of my messages as soon as I have read them, I also don't tend to get loads of sms and emails.

if you have them separate is there a different icon for each type of message? i think i would get a message and then have to search through all my folders to figure out what i received.

I keep mine separate because I like to keep one, linear conversation going with BBM, and the SMS/MMS mixes me up when we don't take turns with responses. I keep the BBM icon right above the message icon and just spin up and down.

Although saying that, I do also have the today screen where messages are delivered as one in the messages inbox. Best of both worlds!

I dont seperate mines either. Its more convientient to me to be able to go to one folder and see all my messages.

I keep mine seperated with the help of BES Mailbox. This seperates my work e-mails in their own folder, and my personal e-mails neatly in their own folder. I get on average 50 messages from work each day, and just as many in my personal account, so I have to keep it apart, just to keep some sense of sanity going.

Yup I keep mine together just because I do text so much and its a pain to have to go to a different box everytime I get a text or email.
