Just wondering what is the big difference between the cure and world edition other than wifi. my friends are telling me that bbm doesnt work when im out of the countryand that world edtion does. is dis true? thanks guys
Size of device and keyboards are different. Some like the WE's keyboard better some like the Curve's because the keys are seperate. Also the Curve has a 3.5mm earphone jack (which is the standard for audio devices) where as the WE has a 2.5mm jack.
There are more differences to the devices out there.
8830 WE for Sprint and Verizon (same style phone as 8800/8820 for At&t/T-Mobile
-CDMA phone that includes EV-DO broadband service where available (US)
-Also contains 900MHz and 1800Mhz GSM antennae so it will work in most of the world and use edge for data
-Sim card slot is unlocked so when out of the country you can install your native carriers sim card, or a local country sim card for cheaper calling and data
Curve for At&t (8300/8310) and T-Mobile (8320)
- Quad band (850/900/1800/1900Mhz) phone that will work in most of the world
- Edge data speed
- 2MP camera
- Much nicer keyboard than 88XX series
- 8320 from T-Mobile has UMA (WiFi calling)
Any info on when Sprint will get the Curve? I was planning on getting the 8830, but would like the camera, plus Verizon has a curve with GPS, which I also want.
