Hi All! Good to see the forum is busy tonight!

I have to re-install my desktop manager to sync my Outlook calendar at work because it gave me some "virus" messages 2 days ago. I was using the "new" interface of 4.3???? and looked today to re-install.
I noticed all the different versions now available from the blackberry website.
Question is what one do I want to install to get the most out of it? 4.3,4.5,4.6,or 4.7

Curve 8310 ATT service
v4.2.2.170(platform 2.5.0.30)

What do i need to do (outside of upgrading to a Bold or Storm -2 year contracts blow) to get the most out of this?

4.7 is updated for the Storm, but people are having trouble downloading it. I'd just go with 4.6.

I use Desktop Manager 4.5 without media manager...

Well I had a problem installing my blackberry desktop manager. when i tried installing it, its says "Windows installer service could not be accessed. This can occur if you are running windows in Safe mode, or if the windows installer is not currently installed. " how do i fix this?

Can you run it as administrator?
